I have seen this meme bouncing around the blogsphere the past few days, so I thought I’d give it a try:
Tell me about a story I haven’t written, and I’ll give you one sentence from that story.

I love this idea…a boy stands holding a flashlight filled with emotion but he isn’t running…cannot wait to see if you write the story.

Hm, I like this prompt is really intriguing, and it’s a pity you won’t see the whole story here:
“Simon is still green to Dylan; with his flashlight he carves a path of light from the back of Simon’s neck, down his shoulders, and his spine.”
PS. I think this could be in one of the books I am working on, and it could possibly be the epilogue. But the project is very much early days right now, meaning that anything can and will change.

Two ex-lovers are alone in a room together, both very still; their eyes are wide and unblinking. One is alive, and the other isn’t.

Oh you are really cruel Carolyn. I didn’t see this earlier, but I’ll reply properly with a sentence soon.
