Today I challenged myself a little bit. I’m revisiting research on an project from a few years ago. Part of that project required writing in proto-Celtic. Since I haven’t written in proto-Celtic for awhile, so I decided to try my hand at it again, just for practice. I am pretty sure I got many things wrong, so if you’re some linguistics expert wandering the #pinp17 tag and have some input, the comments are always open.
Proto-Celtic:
Rouami sama alaudi kanta brist φatanui.
Tu tlianti san wenai.
Tu tlianti san wenai.
English:
I fall like a falcon with a broken wing.
You stole our love.
You stole our love.
